This page explains what we collect when you use ThodaPadhLo, why we need it, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible
ThodaPadhLo is operated by [operator name to be added] (“we”). For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and a securely hashed password. Optionally a profile photo, a short bio, your class, what you are studying for and your language preference.
- Sign-in with Google or Facebook: the account identifier and display name that service shares with us. We never receive your password for it.
- Your study activity: practice answers, test attempts and scores, coding submissions, bookmarks, progress and comments you post.
- Teachers: the institution and subjects you give us when you apply for verification.
- Parents: the link between a parent account and a child account, when both agree to it.
- Security records: sign-in history (time, method, IP address and browser) and active sessions, to protect accounts and stop abuse.
Why we use it
- To run your account and show your progress, practice history and results.
- To send account emails such as email verification and password resets.
- To keep the service secure and to moderate comments.
We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising.
Browser storage and cookies
We store your sign-in session and your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising cookies.
We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
Little Explorers (ages 1–5)
The Little Explorers games need no account and collect no personal information. They use no cookies and no microphone. Sound and voice settings are saved only in the browser on your device.
Children and students under 18
Many of our users are school students. If you are under 18, use ThodaPadhLo with the permission of your parent or guardian. Parents can write to [email protected] to see or delete their child’s account.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host the site and deliver our emails, only for those purposes.
- Google or Facebook, only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data, except records we must keep by law or to resolve a dispute.
Your choices
You can update most profile details on your profile page. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, email [email protected] from the address on your account. Complaints go to our grievance contact at the same address.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
